Of course not! DISA not only provides secretariat support to the ASC X12
Committee, but to several other organizations, such as the UN/EDIFACT
(United Nations Rules For Electronic Data Interchange for Administration,
Commerce and Transport) Working Group, OpenTravel Alliance (OTA),
Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum, Mortgage Industry Standards
Maintenance Organization (MISMO), Hotel Electronic Distribution Network
Association (HEDNA), Open hilanthropy eXchange (OPX), and XML/edi Group.
DISA is not owned by X12...rather, at the present time, X12 happens to be
its largest customer.
