Why not ask questions like this?

Does it make a difference what value you put in the GS03 element?

What is a 997 and why is it necessary?

What's a terminator character and what characters should you never use for
  terminator characters?

What usually happened when your trading partner rejects an invoice because
  of an illegal character?

What's an implementation guide and who issues it?

        What's a mailbag number?

Can you reuse ISA control numbers? Why or Why not?

        What is AS1 and AS2?

What is a VAN and a VPN?

        What happens to duplicate documents?

Where do you get X12 standards?

Are there any problems using an EBCDIC machine for your EDI translator?
