Good morning all..... We capture inbound PO information for many of our customers, store the "customer unique numbers or requirements" and add them back into the return documents, "ASN's, PO acknowledgements, invoices". We also do that for inbound BOL's for carriers, especially for those retail customers of theirs that want shipment status messages to include individual PO's by store, department etc.
I am sure that there are other VANs out there that do the same thing. I know we can do often complete the project before most folks can get approval for the resources to do it internally. This is one of the Value adds that we networks perform. Just a thought, if D Davies trading partner can't modify their JBA system. Doug Doug Anderson Asst.
