Just for fun. Is XML still human readable in its binary format? From SearchSAP.com: Today's News January 03, 2005

The format of the messages doesn't have a lot to do with whether it's batch oriented; I wager that I could write a very efficient and robust realtime processing system that chewed on X12 and EDIFACT transactions just as easily as XML. (Not saying it'd be as easy to write, just that the transactions would be processed realtime in a similar fashion to XML.) > Most sales people and business people frankly don't care what > standard they use as long as you load their data correctly.
