My entirely uninformed, top-of-the head guess is that it will have about 
the same impact as standardized bar code labels.  Somewhere between no 
impact (other than adding or changing a few data elements), to encouraging 
use of additional transaction sets because RFIDs make it easier to collect 
information on physical goods.
