I agree that it doesn't have to be expensive.  There is an OpenAS2 group that 
is not Drummond certified.  It's free, but you have to roll your own.  So 
expensive is not the only criteria.
Last time I checked, Drummond was charging over $50K for certification.  You 
are going to have to sell a lot of software to make back that money...

BTrade and iSoft also had/have very inexpensive AS2 software for a single 
partner, which was WalMart.  Once they hooked you with the cheap version, they 
reeled you in with the cost of additional trading partners.  It's so expensive, 
that we've had people on this list unable to justify the additional licenses.

How much does nsoftware charge for a second partner?  Third partner?

PS:  Normally sales pitches should have a <SALES> prefix in the subject ;-)
