Yes, exactly.  Yet Neiman Marcus and Intertrade seem to be doing exactly that.
(I've emailed Intertrade requesting information on synching my client's QRS 
UPCs.  No answer yet.)

The fees to register & test this catalog are $1,000.00, followed by $1,200.00 
per year.  I hope they are buying lots of different items.

It still leaves unanswered the question that bothers me the most:

Why does this software have to be 'certified' at the cost of tens of thousands 
of dollars?
