Denise,
We will be cursed with this crap until a refusal to do business hurts
the
trading partner on the other end of this extortion.
I have about had it with paid testing. It is even more insulting and
galling when it comes from trading partners who have never done EDI before
and they are the ones learning the ropes.
I'm going to talk to my management about implementing a policy of not
dealing with such testing, especially when the new trading partner has no
track record of even being able to read an 850 or 810.

I was just greeted with an email outlining some EDI mapping changes from one
of our customers. The changes don't bother me as much as them charging me
to test their new changes they want to implement.
I know this has been on the board before, but it still stinks. This time the
testing fee's are more expensive than the others. When is enough enough.
Thanks,
Denise
