Stephenie,
DTDs sound familiar. I haven't really looked at XML in about 4 years.
I
realize it has morphed and moved on in that time. I was asked by my
management if I could provide an example or an online thing for our XML guy
who doesn't know X-12.

Hi Dan.
Do you possibly mean XML Schema, or the predecessor to schema, DTD's
(Document Type Definitions?)
Cheers,
Stephenie Cooper
