One example of software that does not charge per TP is Softshare's ECS. It
does all the various EDI-INT flavors (not Drumond certified though), plus
flat file, ftp client, and a few more that I don't recall at the moment.
I'll grant you that normally ECS gets used with the Softshare translator
(Delta), but off the top of my head, I cant think of why you couldn't use
it just as a traffic cop. I'm sure others will chime in if that is way off
base.
BTW, from what I've seen of Sterling's pricing, I'd bet the whole
Softshare shebang would cost less than the maintenance on what you have
now.
