Essential Job Functions
- Analyze transactional data in various formats such as X-12, flat
file and XML.
- Create maps to translate data to various formats to include X-12,
flat file, XML and ODBC.
- Trading Partner Relationship setup
- Write programming scripts or batch files to pre-process, analyze,
extract from, copy and or move data files
- Administering Gentran for Windows NT
Required Skills
- Should be comfortable with EDI, XML and custom Flat File formats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus, that being internal or external
customers.
- Ability to Solve Problems Creatively.
- Detail oriented - technically
- Gentran for Windows NT Application Integration or Sterling
Integrator
- Familiarity with the Windows environment
- Programming / Scripting using VBScript / WSH or Windows Batch
Scripting
- Proof of Concept / Testing / Documentation of Processes
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is
required.
- 5 years of IT experience is required.
- 4 years mapping experience is required.
- 3 years of Gentran:Server for NT and Cyclone Interchange experience
is required.
- Previous experience with SQL is highly desirable.
- Experience with Gentran Integration Suite is highly desirable.
- Cyclone or AS2 compatible software knowledge
- XML / XPATH Knowledge
- Business Processes within GIS
