I forgot to mention one other limitation, since xmlLinguist is a stand-alone application and not embedded inside any EDI platform/translator, the automation engine is a COM object that requires some other kind of platform to run, such as any windows programming language like C#, C++, VB, Delphi, etc. You can also use VBScript to piece these things together relatively easily, in fact we have a tutorial that shows you how to do this at http://www.sysonyx.com/xml-to-edi-850. This tutorial applies a stylesheet before the xmlLinguist translation (which you'd probably need to do anyways). HTH, Bryce K. Nielsen SysOnyx, Inc.
