        For those of us who write in Assembler and use COBOL to document
what we wrote, I understand you.

        I could show you where XML is really used to expose the lack of
knowledge or skills of people involved.  Like my 3/4 page 855 needing to
be translated into a 35 page Purchase Order Acknowledgement in XML.  I
suspect this needs to be done to support a middle man supporting "rip
and run" EDI.

elements out and throw away the rest - either
as a translation step or a database load.  You don't see the XML tags in

Oracle, do you?  Compared to legacy
