Hi Art.

Fabulous advise and very well presented.

Jonathan - Why is it when people ask for help here your responses are always
nasty? Why are you signed on to this kind of forum if your only going to
scrutinize when someone asks for some advise?

Lighten up or don't bother responding as your energy is very discouraging to
those who are new to EDI and just need a bit of help? Is your reasoning for
being discouraging for your own job security????

  Give it up already

          Vaasmrv,

My suggestion to you is to concentrate on making a great impression of
yourself as a person, and to let the interviewer know you have completed
training, with whatever certification you have earned.

Most interviewers will take into consideration that you are new and
inexperienced in the real world of EDI. But if they think you are
enthusiastic (not over-the-top), engaging, serious with a sense of humor,
able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, they may give
you a try.

One big no-no. This is not an internet chat room, and neither is your
interview. Loose the chat-room abbreviations, and use capital letters where
appropriate plz. LOL. OMG, I wouldn't hire u f u use these. Make it your
practice to use complete sentences expressing complete thoughts from now on
when writing in a professional setting. You want to be a professional. Act
like one.

Good luck!
