Well, Art, that is a valid idea, as well. Of course, then human eyes
would have to "see" that link and then act upon it....

But, the problem is that any lawyer worth his or her salt could easily
(if it came to a legal matter) work around it and find a way that
could make it a moot point....

Is there a perfect answer for this post & question? Probably not....
By housing the TPA someplace else where the TP has to go and hunt it
down, you're making it that they may not do it. So they can easily
use an excuse - and probably get away with it - that they didn't see
it... How many traffic accidents have that as an underlying
reason? "I didn't see you!".

I doubt that there is any perfect solution out there that will meet
all needs - both the informational needs of having the TPA in the
document and the cost/data issues of having so many characters
spilling across the lines.

As a side note - there are a few TPs that I have that send "extra
data" on the ASN I receive. It's something that one of their TPs
requested and so they add it to all ASNs, so that they have fewer maps
to manage. Is there any problem in My getting this extra info on the
ASN? nope... does it increase My network traffic? Sure... but at
such a tiny amount that it's insignificant...

If size is an issue and you are constantly running up against your KC
limits and/or paying KC overages to your VAN/network - maybe it's time
to re-evaluate your VAN contract....
