I am still surprised to hear that people seem to spend quite a bit of
money just to use the AS2 transport protocol. I am not talking about a
full EDI setup, but just the transport, when done with AS2.
What is the cost of your AS2 module (if not included in your expensive
total package)? Do you still have a vendor asking to pay per trading
partner?
Has anyone tried to do it themselves? I mean AS2 is "just" enveloping
the message with MIME together with some cryptographic manipulations
of it, on top of HTTP ;-)
Another question would be: Can anyone point me to a nice "HOWTO create
a self-signed AS2 certficate"?
