Maybe in the pre-HIPAA days - yes, there was life before!!! - it's possible that a small group of folks within WEDI may have done something like and IG - but I can assure you that WEDI does not do that anymore. That said, WEDI does develop all kinds of issue briefs, white papers, etc. to provide guidance to the industry on all things HIPAA - not just the TCS, but security and privacy as well.

After all, that page is unchanged since 1998 and it probably needs "something" anyway.... (But I could swear WEDI did an implementation which was used by BCBS/Wisconsin in the pre-HIPAA times.
