Maybe in the pre-HIPAA days - yes, there was life before!!! - it's possible
that a small group of folks within WEDI may have done something like and IG
- but I can assure you that WEDI does not do that anymore. That said, WEDI
does develop all kinds of issue briefs, white papers, etc. to provide
guidance to the industry on all things HIPAA - not just the TCS, but
security and privacy as well.

Ok, assuming you are correct (and I *will* check but suspect you are 
probably right) you are the first to notice this error (You win six (6) 
points!) and I'll update it.

After all, that page is unchanged since 1998 and it probably needs 
"something" anyway....

(But I could swear WEDI did an implementation which was used by 
BCBS/Wisconsin in the pre-HIPAA times. I think that would be on the old 
computer and I guess I'll have to see if that thing will still start.)
