You don't say if you are doing the translation yourself, but if you have a 
mailbox system with your translator, couldn't you cc it to a location that 
would then run it through a custom map that would change perhaps only the 
ISA/GS id's then send it on?  I've done that sort of thing in both Gentran for 
UNIX and Gentran for Windows.
