Well... if the MSG is buried in the N9 loop, the sequence is not valid unless there is an N9 segment also included in the sequence. The first segment of a loop is mandatory if any segments within the loop are used. So, if Stephen is talking about the header (Table 1), no that is not valid. Also note that there is a TD5 in position 390 as well as position 240 of the header.
That said, there is a TD5 within the PO1 loop in position 250 of Table 2.. Following the TD5 in the same looping structure is an MSG segment in position 289. Following the MSG there is a N1 loop in position 350, also within the PO1 loop. So, TD5 - MSG - N1 is valid in Table 2 under these circumstances. Another TD5 appears in position 430 in Table 2. Which of course leaves a question that only Stephen can answer, where is the TD5 - MSG - N1 appearing in the data stream. It would be helpful if Stephen provided a complete ordered segment listing since the TD5 appears in so many places in the 850 transaction set.
