Well, there are EDK2-based machines out there in the field which are starting to show problems with "high" persistent PMM allocations happening below 16MiB and polluting the E820 memory map too — which is the topic of one of my other proposed fixes that should be in the CSM specification v0.98. So nothing much surprises me... I suspect that anyone who is actually paying any attention to detail is already "extending" the spec for themselves. -- dwmw2
