You don’t need to configure an ip to PXE boot? 

When you PXE boot there are DHCP requests that get made that are returned by 
the PXE sever that tell you where to boot from. No config is required on the 
EFI side. If the PXE boot does not work it is like an issue with the config of 
the PXE server.
