Why do you think that? Do you mean the OS Loader that has been booted will fail? A PXE boot of the EFI image requires zero configuration. The DHCP ext tags from the PXE server provide the client with all the need configuration information needed to boot. The PXE server can also match the client GUID/UUID and serve a specific boot image to that client. The only configuration in all of this is on the PXE server side. The PXE boot and manual config are different paths.
