Chow > I would not use EXCEL for time series analysis unless you are willing to write a lot of vba functions and subroutines. You may also be able to buy an untested add-in package from someone who makes fantastic claims about their product (but no test results).
You can always use EXCEL as a means of inputting data to many commercial software packages.
