Happy (Gregorian) New Year!

I hope you all had a great start to 2017, and I hope you enjoyed the
stories that were released in December. They were very interesting and
insightful!

To briefly comment on the response to the December newsletter release, I
have received your comments and inputs with high regard, and have learned a
lot about you in the process.

As Tighe mentioned, we are presently having a conversation about a new
direction for the newsletter this year. I have moved the conversation here
<https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Education/Newsletter/Newsroom#New_direction_for_This_Month_in_Education_for_2017>
.

All of the volunteers working with us are valuable, appreciated, and part
of an extraordinary community. I know that together we can achieve great
things, so let's all work towards making 2017 a remarkable year for the
Wikipedia Education Program!

warmest regards,

Nichole
