Happy (Gregorian) New Year! I hope you all had a great start to 2017, and I hope you enjoyed the stories that were released in December. They were very interesting and insightful!
To briefly comment on the response to the December newsletter release, I have received your comments and inputs with high regard, and have learned a lot about you in the process. As Tighe mentioned, we are presently having a conversation about a new direction for the newsletter this year. I have moved the conversation here <https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Education/Newsletter/Newsroom#New_direction_for_This_Month_in_Education_for_2017> . All of the volunteers working with us are valuable, appreciated, and part of an extraordinary community. I know that together we can achieve great things, so let's all work towards making 2017 a remarkable year for the Wikipedia Education Program! warmest regards, Nichole On Tue, Dec 27, 2016 at 6:23 AM, Mardetanha <[email protected]> wrote: > This month we also had edit-a-thon in Sharif university of technology in > Tehran, Iran , sharif university is best technical university in Iran, as > part of this we had discussion with some teachers to adapt Edut program for > next semester, it was funny that we found out one of teachers has been > doing this his undergraduate students in the past term but he was not aware > of program. > you can some photos of this program > https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Edit-a-thon_in_ > Sharif_University_of_Technology_2016 > > Mardetanha > > On Tue, Dec 27, 2016 at 5:38 PM, Anna Koval <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Hi Romaine, >> >> Yes, it is a good idea to document the publication process step-by-step. >> >> The education newsletter team has done so here: >> >> https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/News/Publication_Guidelines >> >> https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Education/Newsletter/Newsroom >> >> Hope this helps, >> >> Anna Koval >> >> >> On Fri, Dec 23, 2016 at 10:07 AM, Romaine Wiki <[email protected]> >> wrote: >> >>> Hi all, >>> >>> It gives me the feeling that it would be good to document the >>> publication process of the newsletter.
