Atanas,
The questions about placement and size, it seems to me, are related to
how you use the module. I happen to like to get my kids out of the shell
quickly and have them write standalone programs. (We can debate that one
another time ;) ), so I prefer a bigger window and a centered one is
nice in a way. OTOH, all error messages show up in the shell, so it's
not good to hide that either.
But if you are working interactively smaller and in one corner is good,
for the reasons you mention.
It seems to me that we want turtle.py to handle both approaches (and
other situations) as smoothly as possible.
