Man, I am having zero luck installing this from the 2.0-RESPIN ISO on two
different PCs.
Now I'm trying to install to a relatively new HP PC with an AMD Athlon 64 CPU
in it. It has an SATA drive and two PATA drives (tried disabling the SATA
controller to see if that was the problem, no effect).
Basically it prompts me to boot, uncompresses the kernel, gets to "Booting the
Linux kernel..." and then the whole PC REBOOTS! (Never gets to the
blue-and-red installation mode.)
Can anyone tell me some things to try here? I can't believe I'm having so much
trouble with this install. Previously WhiteBox Linux 4 was on this PC, and
before that Windoze was on it. I know the hardware is all fine.
Please, please, please help? I'm getting really frustrated because I think
this firewall sounds great, but I can't get it running on two different PCs
(previous post outlines that PC's problem).
