I tried using the SRPM package but there are things missing and a 
rpmbuild -ba fails on it. Typical :/ I wish they had stuck with RHEL 
released kernels. [Last time I built a kernel was a 2.2 kernel, for 2.4 
and 2.6 I've just used whatever redhat puts out and have been happy with 
it.]
