Have you tried to change the nics order? I've seen some people talking about
performance issues involving some "bad" nics... Usually changing the nics
resolved the problem...

You can also disable all the unnecessary services to test the speed of the
"clean" system. I had lots of trouble in past with the spam filters "eating"
my system resources.

Do you really need to place this file server at the orange segment??
