Yes, I would think that someone from Endian's staff would be constantly monitoring this, their community mailing list, and be able to quickly provide help or at least some basic answers. Free is good, but free with absolutely no vendor support is not so helpful. I certainly hope that the EFW community has helped them to shape their product offering, and has probably led more than a few commercial customers to their door. Maybe they feel it's against their commercial judgment to help out their own community, but I feel it can only ultimately benefit them.
