 I am asking some general question. I know what is Serialization. Then what
is Externalization concept? please explain if anyone knows better and gets
time or give me some links to read the information.

They subclass the CMP bean with a BMP bean implementation and build a new
jar for deployment that has the subclassed bean and a changed DD.  See the
EJB2 spec for a description of this approach.
