Hi one more question please regarding the EJBs connectivity to Legacy
Mainframe systems.

Actually our company wants to develop a portal which has 3 different
mainframe databses at different locations. Now instead of making a
relational database for each one, how can I implement EJB technology to talk
with all these mainframe systems?

Using CORBA / IIOP technology, can my EJBs( both entity and session beans)
talk to legcy mainframe databses?
I have read the article on J2EE connector architecture which explains the
latest development of EJBs talking to Legacy mainframe and ERP databases
with the help of Resource Adaptors.
I am totally confused with how can we interact with mainframes IMS/IDMS
databases with the EJBs using CORBA/IIOP?

Previously I put somewhat type of similar question, I hope anyone can tell
me more clearly.

One more thing is,
Can I get a list of tools/Applications which presently provide the interface
between the EJBs and mainframe databases? and how do they support it?

Thanx in advance,

They subclass the CMP bean with a BMP bean implementation and build a new
jar for deployment that has the subclassed bean and a changed DD. See the
EJB2 spec for a description of this approach.
