The examples were created using Weblogic 3.1.5 and JDK 1.1.6. I'm not
surprised that JDK 1.2.2 and Weblogic 3.1.5 don't get along. Weblogic and
the JDK have both been through a few releases since the CDs were burned
(way back in February -- it seems like an eternity ago, and, in terms of
Internet Time, I suppose it was).

I'm in the process of porting the examples to run on the J2EE platform.
When I'm done, I'll post them on the companion website for the book.
