Hi Robert,
You should be able to run Weblogic fine with JDK1.1.6 if you
include a reference to weblogicaux.jar in your classpath. This
can be found at %WEBLOGIC_HOME%/lib/weblogicaux.jar. This includes
the relevant collection classes along with various other libraries such as
SWING.
This is mentioned in their documentation and often referred to
on their newsgroups at www4.weblogic.com
