Hello All,
One of our clients is looking for a web-enabled solution for his mainframe
based CICS screens using WebSphere. The idea is as follows:
a. M/F backend is DB2
b. The middle tier can be a UNIX/SOLARIS platform which will host the
websphere along with the web server (IIS/Apache).
c. The front end is going to be an NT client, possibly using servlets to
generate HTMLs/scripts to be thrown on the screens.
d. MQIS is going to be used as a communications middleware.
Our Questions:
1.We are looking for suggestions on possible best combinations for designing
the architecture for such a system.
2.We would be grateful if any of you could provide more info. about this in
the form of white papers/case studies.
3.Also, can anyone throw some light on the exact use of MQIS in the above
archiecture.
