I agree on that. It would be much more interesting to hear comments (vendor
and others) on comparison itself than continue the version and licence
debate.
Personally I'm pretty interested in hearing comments on performance and
scalability tests.
It would be also nice to see actual source code and more detailed
descriptions of the comparison (like database, version, possible
optimizations etc.).
I also hope this won't scare people away on doing this kind of performance
tests and publishing the results. One can allways point out flaws and there
is allways new version around the corner which will solve all the problems,
but I still think the tests are usefull.
