Almost true, don't expect too much interoperability on the security
side.

EJB is not plain RMI, it sits on top of RMI. The EJB server is
responsible for creating the skeletons/stubs and can integrate
additional information, like the transaction and security context.
That means no interoperability over RMI. Sad but true.
