Well, as no one from IBM responded, I will do it.
I am just a happy user.....
Consider WebSphere if you want a robust application server platform with
enterprise connectors and scalability. The combination of WebSphere and
Visual Age for Java was the first in the market for fast EJB
development/test/deployment and is still the market leader in this field. No
one else comes close to integrate an IDE to an application server. Of
course, being the same firm manufacturing both products helps a lot.
We are using WebSphere with MQSeries, CICS, IMS and AS/400 applications.
If you are a shop interested in integrating your EJB applications to a
variety of legacy platforms, both mainframe, corba, unix TP based, then it
is certainly worth a look.
