pl. take the example of ConverterBean (the most simple session Bean) in Sun
example.Sun documents so many things..but...
Someone brand new to EJB downloads J2EE ,installs on NT4.0,copies the
Converter,ConverterHome,ConverterBean.java files in c:\ejbtest,compiles,
deploys through JNDI name MyConverter.Everything as per documentation
works fine..but one example was reqd. to at-least copy the
ConverterClient.java
in another IP address and access that ConverterBean..3-4 lines of more
documentation
could have helped.context..initial context..DNS not exactly Directory server
in JNDI
tutorial,System.getProperties() etc. etc.
Will it be excused to ask for not so many means but only one means..say I
just
blindly followed ConverterBean deployment in J2EE on NT 4.0..ok...how I
put the ConverterClient.java in another Win95 m/c ,compile it there, and test
it
from another m/c.so that life is so easy for me.. first to see it works and
then
dig into JNDI ...better location transparency than native RMI etc.etc.
thanks a lot for your time.someone pl. answer.

Incorrect. You can use this from any JVM. All you have to do is either
load these properties into the System properties yourself, or include a
file called jndi.properties with these settings in your classpath.

This

2 can be used anywhere, by clients or by beans.
