Hi All,

I have seen my mail box getting flooded with all the nonsense stuff out
there. I think its more of a junk mailing list rather than a serious
"technical" mailing list where people can discuss about the technical
architecture of EJB or why it is desinged in such a way. No one is serious
about understanding the technology and appreciating it.

In fact, we have a hell lot of persons in this group who are just struggling
to get the bean installed and keep it running somehow without taking the
pain of understanding the things. Some are more interested in money and talk
about the jump in salary they are getting but as far as i know this forum is
not to discuss about the ways of getting rich but to talk about technology.

As fas as vendor specific questions go, this place looks like a cheap market
place where each vendor is struggling to sell its application server in the
market which is in its nascent stage. God bless them and teach them
marketing rather than begging to purchase one's application server.

I have not seen this type of shit mailing list anywhere else that does not
make any sense and people are more interested in making fun of things.

I had asked few questions related to plain simple EJB concepts and i was
shocked to see the response. No one ever replied back apart from few persons
for some questions. This is not in favor of the EJB technology and as far as
shifting the EJB's from one application server to another server goes then i
think its the most difficult in weblogic only because of the complete
proprietary architecture and implementation of EJB Spec. Even weblogic does
not follow the standardized process of assembling and deploying the beans
like ear file etc.

I don't know if its good or bad for EJB but this place is certainly not for
me. I hope that more knowledgeable persons out there will help keep the
spirit of this forum alive.

Regards,
Ripan

Hi,
Aren't the vendors supposed to be experts in the field of middleware?
That's the EJB spec. Right? Source code of app. servers are probably the
most
advanced EJB implementations. Why exclude them? They should know more about
EJB
than the normal EJB developers.
bye,
Mohan
