This is just more FUD from an unknown source. JavaScript & HTML are fine for
simple UI. However, all the JavaScript & HTML in the world won't provide your
users with an pleasant experience with a complex application. We have developed
two vertical market applications using EJB with swing client UI. Both are designed
for handling large complex data management tasks. One handles "real" money. It's
handles the entire order entry, production, invoicing, accounts receivable and
other accounting tasks for about a dozen businesses so far. It currently has 50+
use cases and thousands of UI component instances.
