Albert,
Such a big application doesn't warrant for entity beans? Or you avoided
Entity Beans deliberately to serve the large user base without any
performance issues?
Thanks

Subject: Re: Is EJB mature enough to handle big projects ?
Kan:
We did use html/servlets/Javascript(front
end),EJB(Sessionless bean)/Weblogic ,Oracle8,Sun Solaris,Windows NT/2000
to implement a large project. Right now we have almost
400,000 users. Our target is 3 millions users.
My suggestion is designing multitier systems (distributed
processing) so that they better be flexible and scalable.
To be flexible is big issue because do you have to work with
legacy system or you have to adopt new cutting edge tech. to fit
your infrastructure. The most important thing is to satisfy
your business rules.

Hi
I am having a very big application which I am planning to port to
EJB. But
before that I want to know if EJB can handle such heavy
applications. I have
both web compnonet as well as back office componenet in my
application.
Can anybody suggest me some sites where I can look in for such
successful
stories or if somebody has done implemenatation of large projects on
EJB
before, please do let me know.
Regards,
Kanwardeep Singh
