It is my impression that what Marc is about to do is take EJBoss's very
clever container and merge it with JOnAS's Entity Bean code base. This
will advance EJBoss to a new level. Really.
My suggestion is slap it together and toss it out there. Don't sweat
the details. Why? You now have a critical code mass capable of drawing
users and coders. The code base has enough structure to it to support
smaller find grained CVS updates to smooth out the edges, fix the bugs
and support continuous and incremental improvements along with a major
functionality leaps such as a JMS integration.
I don't care if the thing is hung together with spit and scotch tape.
Get it into the CVS. Is there an up-to-date CVS branch that is being
updated almost daily???

Open Source Rule #1 Release Early and Often.
Open Source Rule #2 You can't release often enough.

Now is the time to start Releasing Early and Often....
Now is the time to make a special effort to reduce background
conversations and get them on the dev-list and generate involvement.
Sure there is going to be tons of noise but its part of the rules of the
game.
It is going to start accelerating.
