Indeed. I was introduced to the notion of proxy-based OO-systems in -96
(way before EJB was on the playing field), and the secret to perfection
lies IMHO in visualization. Once you can visualize the different
components and their relationships, it becomes much easier to do things
that wasn't really supposed to be possible. Oh, and a fair amount of
class decompilation does help too :-)

ps. BTW, as a funny note I explained to the WL techies in WebLogics
newsie forum this morning what it takes to do true HotDeployment of
beans (including interfaces), and explained why it wont work with their
current architecture.. hehe.. >:-)
