Ah, memories! :-) I would totally recommend going to Budapest, epsecially in spring! On the other hand, I would totally *not* recommend installing a local OpenStack cloud; I've done both and, trust me, installing and maintaining a SLURM cluster is *much less* work, evening if you don't have any playbooks or tools and must install everything from scratch.
