I was thinking of getting the K60XV to add to my K2/100+KAT100, so
I was going through the online checklist to see what I needed to get, as
I have some of the required options (like the KPA100MODKT and KPA100SHLDKT)
already installed, but I don't know what versions of the various firmware
components I might need to upgrade...
Well, I now seem to have no menus. I push the menu button and it does
nothing. Push and hold the menu button and it does nothing. Everything else
about the radio seems to work fine. I haven't actually turned on the radio
in a month or maybe more, so I can't say when this actually happened.
I can tell from power-up that I have CPU firmware 2.04A and IOC firmware
1.07.
Has anyone else seen this before? Did that actual switch just fail on
me? Is there a way to check that without desoldering it?
