If I am monitoring the CW portion of the 40 meter band and have my NB
switched on, I can always tell when someone aboard the USS Requin decides to
do some QRP ops. I live atop Mt.Washington in Pittsburgh, PA, while the
submarine is docked immediately below in the Ohio river at the Carnegie
Science Center.
I have worked Art NY3EC a few times, always joking that we could just as
easily shout back and forth. I wonder if he would be up for semaphore...
