the story as of last saturday morning ;-) was that the amp may include 6m (yay!) and that the 1500W unit will come out after the 800W is on the market. (6m would be derated, however, because 6m is about at the limit of what the finals can do.)
The 800W version has the switching power supply built in; the 1500W version has the supply in a separate box. The supply is Elecraft designed and extremely quiet (as you might expect). The amp is fully automatic (a la Alpha/ACOM), runs with any xceiver and has some cool SO2R features that Eric will surely elaborate on.
