Knut- 4.05 has been designated a regular production release. You do not use the FTP method for regular production releases, only for beta releases. Just start K3UTIL, and check the box that says "Copy new files from Elecraft into local folder". Then click the button that says "Check Versions Now". It should recognize the new firmware and download it. You can then load it into your K3. GL, Bruce N1RX
