Good Evening,
The weather has turned chilly again. High 40s each night with low 60s
during the day. Looks like there may even be some rain soon. That will cut
down on the fire danger even though it has not been very high at all this year.
Propagation on twenty meters was pretty good for this week with slight QSB.
The sun looks quiet but a coronal hole is turning toward us. That could
provide for a few ions to excite the Heaviside layer. Only a few days ago a
CME hit the earth a glancing blow to give some nice auroral displays closer to
the magnetic poles. One day I must get back to the Midwest to get closer to
the pole than here.
