I believe that's why the scientific community has used "Global Climate Change" for many years. "Global Warming" was a shorter, snappier headline for the press.
Much like the time many decades ago when the engineers described a new ship with revolutionary electrically operated anti-flooding doors "practically unsinkable", but the press couldn't resist simplifying it to the "Unsinkable Titanic". Ron AC7AC -----Original Message----- Definitely OT, but... Many are now convinced that global warming will be more destructively felt in increasing extremes, rather than a straight line increase in temperature. ... 73, Guy. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
